On the day of departure, you can board the rented boat from 14:00 hrs onwards. On the day of return, you must leave the ship by 10:00 at the latest. This is important, because we need the period between 10:00 and 14:00 to prepare the boat for the next renters. 

If you know in advance that you will be arriving after 15:00 on the day of departure,
we would be really grateful if you could let us know. Then we can take that into account.  

In principle, mooring is free provided that there is no mooring ban in force and the owner of the dock agrees. Never moor in the reeds!

All De Driesprong ships are equipped with a Markrite flag, so you can safely moor at one of the Markrite berths. At a Markrite berth, you can stay in the same place for a maximum of 72 hours.

Unmanned vessels may not be left behind; that may only be done in a marina or along a specially designated berth on the quay.

The use of diesel is at your own expense. On return, the boat is always refuelled with Blue Diesel at our diesel pump.

The beds in our motor yachts are approx. 1.90 metres in length, the width of single beds is approximately 0.80 to 1.30 metres, and the width of double beds is approximately 1.20 to 1.40 metres. Bunk beds do not have a ladder or safety fence, but a step.

You have to take into account that showering on board a boat is not the same as showering in a house. All our ships are equipped with a shower; some are a bit more spacious and comfortable than others. But in principle, a shower cabin on board will always be somewhat smaller in size than a shower in a house. 

Definitely! When you hire a boat from us, you can park your car free of charge on our car park for the length of your rental period.

At our marina, there's a side reserved for boat rentals. This is the side where you found your boat when you loaded it up before departure. It doesn't matter which dock you leave your boat in,
as long as it is on that side. Here we'll be able to refuel the boat for you. 

Our motor yachts have comprehensive insurance, so no worries. The deductible is borne by the renter. This is what we call the deposit. It must be paid by bank transfer 10 days before the departure day. Providing no damage occurs, your deposit will be returned to you 7 days after the end of the rental period.

The agreed rental price is always inclusive of final cleaning.

Costs not included in the price comprise:

• Potential bridge and/or lock fees
• Mooring fees that you have to pay at marinas
• The cost of the fuel you consume

You receive the deposit back, minus the cost of the fuel consumed, once the motor yacht has been checked after your return.

Our boats are mostly rented out during the boating season so aren't at our marina location. Unfortunately, between April and September it is never possible to come and view a motor yacht on changeover days because of the work we have to do to get the boats ready for the departure of our next guests. Outside these months, when the boating season is not yet in full swing, you can always call us and make an appointment. During the winter months, we take our boats out of the water and service them. Therefore, it is not always possible to view a motor yacht at this time. Therefore, to view a boat, it is always necessary to make an appointment by telephone in advance.

No, you only need a boat licence for a boat in excess of 15 metres in length, or one that can sail above 20 km per hour. All our boats are under 15 metres with a top speed of 20 km per hour and therefore excluded from this requirement.

We will let you sail without a boat licence. When you set out in the boat, we will always give you instructions on how to operate it and various boating tips. A boating lesson is compulsory, if you have absolutely no prior experience. 

You must be 21 years and above to rent one of our motor yachts.
A boat licence is not required for renting one of our motor yachts. This is only compulsory for yachts greater than 15 metres in length or with a speed in excess of 20km/h. You can experience freedom and sail without a boat licence.
